Thanks a ton for reading and commenting & welcome! Roo is a “mini boxer” (boxer, boston terrier mix), so she looks and acts just like a boxer but is 30 pounds! Boxers are the BEST!

Welcome back! I have been a bit MIA too from substack but there is always so much goodness when I open it back up - like this read! Bookmarking (pun intended) those summer reads and also now tempted to go back to Vecino to try why you suggested. I went last week and was underwhelmed but would love to go back when (if) their patio is open. Can’t wait for the Bach content - that vibe sounds magical!

We thought the entrees were better than the apps + agree that a patio makes everything better! Sounds like we should schedule a substack hang!

Totally agree on feelings re: Substack catchups. The floral for your sister’s baby shower is so cute!

So happy you’re here 🩷 I couldn’t agree more - I just finished ‘This Summer Will Be Different’ by Carly Fortune and thought it was better than Funny Story! I zoomed through it - so excited for all of the summer reads coming out right now. What book is next for you?

New reader here and this was an absolute delight! Agree on the ok-ness of Expiration Dates. I didn't feel invested in Daphne at all and the dialogue/exchanges she had with all her boyfriends didn't have any depth, so they weren't really developed.

Thanks so much for reading + commenting, i’m so glad you liked it! & YES, I wanted the whole book turned up a notch like her previous ones - the notes, the conversations, the romance, the lessons, the ending with Hugo. We needed more!
