hi my peeps!
We’re all guilty of being saving-superstars on social media, smashing the bookmark icon in rapid succession on anything and everything that catches our eye. If you are like me, you ultimately have hundreds of posts and multiple folders on many different apps stuffed full of inspiration. Instagram? A given. Tiktok? Duh. Pinterest? Of course. Locker? A black hole. Random screenshots? Dear lord.
Last weekend I had a early Sunday morning flight and truly, is there a better time to tackle completely random tasks and ~*be productive*~? Like going through the endless abyss of my social media saves and see whats in stock, what I actually like, and organize my thoughts? The answer is no, do your thang and let the person sitting next to you watch your screen (and also get inspired).
How to tackle a saves-sweep?
This feels like a laptop job - multiple tabs and things open on your phone, mm no thank you.
Pick one social media platform to start and go through those messy saves folders.
As you go, decide if you are still drawn to the thing - is it something you’d spend your hard earned pennies on? Is it just providing inspiration? Did you just hit save on a whim while under a blanket on the couch?
If it’s still a hard yes, start opening tabs and finding the items. See if they are still in stock, maybe on sale, or if you can find it somewhere else for the best price. Sometimes those affiliate links are tricky.
If it’s just for inspiration, lets file it accordingly - maybe you make a new folder and shuffle those saves there.
If it was on a whim, thats ok! Guilty as charged. Maybe we un-save that one.
Try to identify themes. Maybe it’s not the actual linked item, but a style of jacket, a print, an accessory that you are drawn to.
Repeat as necessary!
Sometimes your saves are a gold mine! Sometimes they are endless links to sold out items maybe you’d think twice about now. The goal is not to just buy all of the things but decide if it is something you really vibe with and want taking up precious space in your wardrobe. Or maybe its just providing inspiration / a style you’d like to replicate with what you already have - going through your saves folder can be a wonderful moment of reflection - how can you re-create a look with your already awesome pieces? Maybe just one accent piece will be what you need vs. an entirely new and loaded shopping cart.
I went through so many saves, and here’s an inside look at the pieces, trends and the wonderful humans + outfits that I loved the most. I linked directly to the saves in the image captions if you want to see them in action, plus these gals are worth a follow!
re/done western loose jean: These are sold out (& on sale) just about everywhere, but if you can find your size I’d snag them. I loathe when you go through a article and everything linked ends up being sold out, so I tried to find some other options that bring a similar vibe.
still here subway jean: I love the dark wash, contrast stitching and loose fit.
staud carter white pant: On the pricier side, but a statement jean - I’d lean into a monochromatic look with a white tee, slingback heels and silver jewelry.
ser.o.ya gabbi wide leg jean: Also on the pricier side, but these are giving the adidas track pant trend (but may have a longer shelf life).
agolde fold wide leg: These have an interesting shape, a bit like the staud find above, but without the buttons. Could be a fun way to try out this look without getting too crazy.
reformation cary high rise slouchy wide leg jeans: Ok, but like how many buzz words could they fit into that name!? The stud detail is reminding me of middle school, but I like that its a simpler detail.
501 levi’s original jeans: A endlessly classic cut that will last for years and always looks good paired with a cute top!
agolde stella shorts: This look could lend itself easily to longer-cut shorts too.
acne studios printed velvet top: So chic, and although its on the pricier side, I think the way the pattern is applied makes it a bit more classic but still fun.
zara slip dress or slip skirt: The dress sold out as I wrote this, but the skirt version is still in stock! Add yourself to the waitlist if you love the dress - for the price, its worth the wait.
ba&sh milos peter pan collar jacket: Hannah pairs this jacket with many looks, its price-per-wear could be worth it. I found some other options in case that price point isn’t it for you - vintage etsy, h&m coated jacket, pixie market cropped biker.
house of sunny moto jacket: house of sunny launches this jacket in different color ways often, but the pop of red is extra fun paired with this print.
charm necklace: There are so many options depending on what you like - there are great customizable options on etsy like this or this (+ many price points), hart jewelry can be fully customized (and if you’re in Charleston, you can visit their storefront and make one in person), zara has a sold out version that is three separate necklaces if you want to see if it’s available in a store near you.
forever 21 striped silk pants: I love how these were styled and it really elevates the look from comfort to high style.
FRNCH albanne pants: These pants scream spring! And I can see they being paired with a bikini top into the summer months.
reformation olina silk pants: This pair is back in stock and is such a pretty color. Again could easily be styled down with sneakers and a sweater, or up with heels and a cute top - maybe this line by k top?
zara satin striped pants: For my not-color-loving-girls, these are a bit more neutral and would look cute with the black version of the tank below.
agolde poppy tank: Agolde’s tanks are some of my favorite - the thicker fabric makes it endlessly comfortable and reliable.
verano hill amanda jodie handbag: Bold accessories amp up this look and this bag is so fun.
UO jelly platform slide: Really love the platform sandal look paired with these pants. These free people harbor flat sandals come in a bunch of great colors too.
doen gingham dress: The cut of this makes it easy to wear, whether its into the office or out for dinner and a drink.
doen emmaretta dress: I love the corset cut of this dress, but it is hard to find in stock at the moment. This solid and striped version hits the mark as a back up!
anthropologie melie bianco sasha bag: The dumpling shape and silver details >.
poesie veneziane alix loafers: I love the sling back-loafer combo, transitions them easily from winter to spring.
apres studio bluebell balerina mini dress: The maxi in the inspo is sold out, but the minis are ready for you. The drop waist in the blue mini in particular sets it apart from other ruched dresses being sold elsewhere.
apres studio martini ruched cotton dress: A mini in the same print as its sold out version (I love the red color option too). An easy throw on and go style!
adidas handball spezial: Either you love sambas or you’ve refused to buy a pair, but either way this light blue color way is great for adding a pop of color or being styled with denim.
This journey could be never ending, but I hope you are leaving inspired and *maybe* you’re ready to spend your Sunday doing a saves-sweep of your own.

A great idea! All these outfits are adorable!
The Still Here Subway jeans are 10/10. I got mine late December and have worn so many times I can't keep count anymore. Best fit, best quality!
